## Description

NECS, Inc. develops business software for wholesale food distributors, an industry it has served since 1987. Its Windows-based entrée platform is designed to help distributors manage daily operations, improve efficiency, and support profitability. The company says its software is used by 1,500 food distributors and offers solutions for businesses ranging from core distribution management to warehouse and customer ordering needs.

The entrée suite includes ERP software, accounts payable, credit card and ACH payment processing, document scanning, electronic data interchange, general ledger, multi-warehouse management, QuickBooks integration, and warehouse management. Additional tools include mobile order entry for sales representatives and customers, e-commerce for desktop and mobile devices, proof-of-delivery applications, and online product catalogs. NECS also provides APIs for connecting e-commerce and warehouse platforms, along with cloud hosting, custom programming, and website design for food distributors.

To support customers, NECS offers product assistance, remote support, emergency 24-hour support, and training through Food Distribution University, which features on-demand educational videos.
