## Description

NE Cycling CIC, also known as the North East Cycling Academy, manages Middlesbrough Velodrome and brings people together through cycling, coaching and community activities. Its services support a range of goals, from learning to ride and improving fitness to building cycling skills and preparing for competition. Visitors can book velodrome sessions and access track coaching, learn-to-ride opportunities, performance coaching, membership options and private hire. The organisation also offers activities for schools and alternate provision, as well as programmes delivered in schools, events and a clubhouse. NE Cycling’s coaching team draws on more than 20 years of performance coaching experience and combines technical knowledge with experience at high levels of sport. The team includes Masters World Track Championship medalists and National Masters Champions, and has received British Cycling national and regional Coach of the Year recognition. NE Cycling CIC presents its work as supportive and relationship-focused, aiming to help participants progress at their own pace, whether they are new to cycling or pursuing competitive development.
