## Description

NED Alumni Canada (NEDAC) is the alumni association for graduates of NED University of Engineering & Technology, connecting members across Canada since 2006. With more than 950 registered members, it brings together NEDians from different provinces and graduating classes through networking, professional development, and community activities.

NEDAC organizes picnics, professional mixers, social gatherings, annual events, and webinars covering topics such as cybersecurity, legal planning, and digital transformation. Its leadership development, mentoring, and skills-building programs support members’ professional goals, while its community initiatives assist newcomers and current NEDUET students.

A central part of NEDAC’s work is its scholarship program, established in 2017. The association funds scholarships for deserving students, with awards assessed by NEDUET on a need-cum-merit basis. To date, NEDAC reports awarding 82 scholarships across 14 engineering specialties. Members and supporters can contribute to the scholarship fund, join the association, attend events, and access its resources. Through these programs, NEDAC sustains connections among graduates while supporting education and the next generation of engineers.
