## Description

Neither Fish Nor Foul is an independent literary journal centered on imaginative writing that embraces the unusual, the uncertain, and the delightfully hard to classify. Guided by the idea of “stories with feathers and fins and all manner of things,” the publication welcomes work that is odd, not quite, nearly, or almost—and values writing created for the sheer joy of it. Its invitation to contributors is to be bold, playful, and willing to take risks, then edit each piece carefully before submitting it.

The journal’s website brings together information about its publication, current and past issues, and submission opportunities. Readers can explore back issues and follow a series of interviews featuring Anika Carpenter, Anne Anthony, Holly Chilton, Jack Morris, and Amy Marques. These interviews complement the journal’s focus on creative expression and offer another way to engage with the people connected to its pages. Whether discovering published work or considering a submission, visitors will find a literary space that encourages curiosity, experimentation, and writing that shines.
