## Description

North East Keelboat Alliance (NEKA) is a non-profit organization based in Glen Cove, New York, focused on developing the next generation of competitive sailors. Its mission is to help young sailors build the skills and experience needed to compete at the highest levels of keelboat and offshore racing, with a pathway toward participation in grand prix racing programs.

NEKA’s work brings together sailing projects, teams, and racing opportunities. Its website highlights NEKA Labs, Ocean Grown, NEKA Shed, and several named boats and programs, including Peacemaker, Desperado, Group 5, Celartias, Katsu, and Inception. The organization also features the NEKA 300 Race and Series, along with race-course information, results, and coverage of its activities.

Through its projects and racing program, NEKA offers aspiring sailors opportunities to learn and gain experience in competitive keelboat sailing. The organization invites people to get involved and shares updates, team information, and images of its sailing, including activity in Long Island Sound and the Caribbean.
