## Description

NEMCA is a community for people interested in collecting and exploring the history of magic. Its website connects members and prospective members with the Yankee Gathering, a featured event with registration options for full attendance or a single day. Visitors can find the event schedule, hotel and travel information, and details for dealers. The site also invites people to join or volunteer, and offers a collector store and a member area.

NEMCA publishes Discoveries, a magazine available in selected issues to both members and non-members, with additional back issues accessible through the member area. Its articles cover magic history and collecting through interviews, auction insights, bibliographies, and features on notable magicians and topics. Recent issue highlights include conversations with David Haversat and Tom Ewing, coverage of Harry “The Hat” Anderson, Houdini and the Davenport brothers, and information about the Yankee Gathering. Visitors can also subscribe to a free newsletter for updates on NEMCA and its events.
