## Description

Nemo’s Swim Academy is a learn-to-swim school based in Bluff, Durban, South Africa. Established in 2005, the academy is run by a team of three fully qualified Swim SA instructors and focuses on helping children become happy, confident swimmers while learning an essential life skill. Its lessons cater to babies from three months old, toddlers, and beginner and intermediate swimmers. The academy also offers stroke correction and endurance training, supporting learners as their skills develop.

Lessons take place in a heated pool within an enclosed facility, enabling year-round swimming and progression. The school operates during KZN school terms, with afternoon sessions from Monday to Friday and Saturday morning lessons; it does not hold classes during school holidays. Nemo’s also hosts an annual fun gala and an annual prize-giving event. Parent testimonials highlight the instructors’ patience, encouragement, and rapport with children, as well as learners’ growing confidence and ability in the water.
