Northeast Online Teaching Institute (NEOTI) is a collaborative program between the Vermont Virtual Learning Cooperative (VTVLC) and the Center for Schools at Castleton University. NEOTI offers a range of professional learning opportunities for teachers interested in online and blended learning. Their offerings include a Certificate in Online Teaching, professional development classes, facilitated online classes, an annual Online and Blended Learning Conference, and regular workshops.

NEOTI also provides custom solutions for professional development to schools and organizations. VTVLC, as a leader in K-12 online learning, is uniquely positioned to help educators gain skills in teaching online. They have a cohort of trained and experienced teachers and have developed significant resources to provide high-quality online professional development to school districts across Vermont.

NEOTI's Certificate in Online Teaching is accepted by the Vermont Agency of Education as aligned with the Online Teaching Specialist endorsement. Vermont educators who successfully complete NEOTI's program will qualify for this endorsement through the Transcript Review process.
