## Description

The Nephrology Society of Fiji (NSOF) is a professional association that promotes and represents the practice of nephrology in Fiji and across the Pacific region. Its work focuses on advancing kidney health and supporting the development of kidney care throughout the region. The Society contributed to the development of the Pacific Kidney Health Plan, created by the ANZSN Pacific Working Group and endorsed by the International Society of Nephrology. Covering 2026–2030, the plan sets out a vision for building capacity in Pacific kidney care and strategies for achieving its goals.

NSOF offers membership with access to benefits and professional development opportunities. It also provides a programme of events and resources for the nephrology community, including annual symposia, interventional nephrology activities, outreach initiatives, and a library. Its event listings include symposia for 2024, 2025, and 2026, as well as interventional nephrology outreach in 2025. Through its professional activities, educational opportunities, and contribution to regional planning, the Society supports collaboration and progress in kidney health across Fiji and the Pacific.
