## Description

Neraptic is an accessibility-focused platform creating communication and therapeutic resources for autistic and nonverbal children, disabled adults who benefit from augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and the families and professionals who support them. Founded by Eddie, a software engineer whose younger brother has nonverbal autism, the project aims to make practical tools more accessible and user-friendly.

Its main offering is a customizable AAC communication board that adapts to a person’s age, communication level, and needs. The board includes more than 3,400 symbols, speech output in six languages, and offline functionality across phones, tablets, and desktop browsers. Users can organize symbols, adjust tiles, and create custom words and categories with a paid upgrade. Neraptic also offers Pictogram Studio, which uses AI to generate visual supports in different styles, with free generations available to start. The free plan includes the AAC board and built-in symbols; Neraptic Pro adds more pictogram credits, custom boards, and expanded organization options. An Android app is also available.
