## Description

The National Entrepreneurship Support and Development Agency (NESDA) is an Algerian government agency under the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Start-ups, and Micro-Enterprises. It supports people seeking to establish or expand micro-enterprises in the production of goods and services, with the broader aim of creating wealth and sustainable employment.

NESDA’s support spans the business journey, from developing an idea to launching and growing an enterprise. Its services include entrepreneurship training, project guidance before and after launch, and financial support through funding arrangements developed with public-sector banking partners. Eligible beneficiaries may also receive tax privileges under the applicable regulations. Entrepreneurship Development Centers provide training and help build the skills needed to create and manage a business; completing this training is a prerequisite for accessing the agency’s support mechanism.

The agency operates through 51 wilaya agencies and more than 170 local branches, alongside over 200 Entrepreneurship Development Centers at universities, schools, and vocational training institutions. Its digital services include online registration, application tracking, and online training.
