## Description

**Resilient Landscapes Hub**

The Resilient Landscapes Hub is at the forefront of addressing Australia's pressing environmental challenges by developing practical, science-based solutions. Focused on enhancing the management of terrestrial and freshwater ecosystems, the Hub conducts collaborative research aimed at increasing the resilience of these ecosystems against extreme weather events such as bushfires, droughts, and floods, as well as threats from invasive species.

Through partnerships with Indigenous communities and various organizations, the Hub co-designs research that prioritizes biodiversity and environmental health. Key initiatives include the monitoring of threatened species, developing culturally relevant climate adaptation frameworks, and implementing restoration efforts that support landscapes vital to Australia’s agriculture, tourism, and cultural identity.

With a commitment to innovative science communication, the Resilient Landscapes Hub ensures that its findings are accessible, driving practical actions for ecosystem management. Engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders, the Hub strives to protect and restore Australia’s unique landscapes for future generations.
