ASTRA is a brand that aims to combat gender-based violence, particularly violence against women. The project was initiated by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers - Department of Equal Opportunities, in collaboration with the University of Rome La Sapienza and Ares 2. 0, a specialized company in social and institutional communication.

ASTRA focuses on the younger generation, recognizing their role as both affected by and agents of change. The brand offers a comprehensive approach with two levels of intervention. Firstly, it provides an active learning program for high school students, enhancing their knowledge and awareness of gender-based violence.

Secondly, ASTRA conducts a public communication campaign targeting a wider audience, with a particular focus on men and young people. The goal is to raise awareness and strongly condemn the behaviors associated with gender-based violence. ASTRA has partnered with organizations such as the Department for Equal Opportunities, the CeTM Research Center, and Ares 2.

0, which has extensive experience in socio-economic analysis and social communication. The brand has successfully produced numerous campaigns addressing social challenges of discrimination, hate speech, fake news, as well as environmental sustainability and biodiversity. Ares 2.

0 has also created a wide range of audiovisual products that effectively communicate key messages. This experience allows Ares 2. 0 to deliver timely campaigns, from ideation to production.

Mutually trusted organizations such as the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Ispra, Federconsumatori, and the University of Rome La Sapienza have collaborated with Ares 2. 0 on their social campaigns.
