## Description

Nest is a family-owned and operated business based in Ottawa, Canada, founded by Lisa and John-Paul in 2009. Their commitment to sustainability and quality is evident in their carefully curated selection of products, which include a wide range of eco-friendly toys, books, clothing, and home goods. Nest focuses on ethically sourced items, with a significant portion of their wooden toys made from sustainably managed forests and colored with water-based pigments that meet stringent safety standards. The store's offerings cater to various categories, such as baby wellness, toddler play, and creative arts, ensuring that families find aesthetically pleasing and enduring products. Nest champions ecological responsibility by providing organic textiles and supporting fair labor practices worldwide. Although their physical store in the ByWard Market is currently closed for browsing, they offer local contactless pick-up and aim to create a hybrid shopping experience in the future. With a strong emphasis on community and sustainability, Nest seeks to promote a lifestyle of semi-minimalism and social equity through their thoughtfully chosen merchandise.
