## Description

Neurostars is an online question-and-answer forum for neuroscience researchers, infrastructure providers, and software developers. Managed by the International Neuroinformatics Coordinating Facility (INCF), it provides an open space for the neuroscience community to exchange knowledge, seek practical help, and discuss research tools and topics. Members can post questions about neuroscience, get software support, share announcements such as project news, software releases, and job postings, or take part in community conversations. Dedicated areas also support discussions about institutions and projects partnered with INCF, courses, and initiatives including the African Brain Data Network and Google Summer of Code. The forum’s software discussions cover tools and workflows used in neuroscience, with recent topics involving packages and platforms such as FSL, QSIPrep, QSIRecon, and CPAC. Neurostars also connects users to INCF resources, including TrainingSpace for educational materials, KnowledgeSpace for community neuroscience knowledge, and INCF.org for information about FAIR neuroscience. Through peer discussion and links to these resources, Neurostars helps users share expertise across the global neuroscience community.
