## Description

NeuroVibes Music Therapy is a Portland-area practice providing music therapy for children and young adults with diverse abilities. Led by Mikelia, a board-certified music therapist, the practice offers neuro-affirming care grounded in applied neuroscience and individualized therapeutic goals. Its work supports neurodivergent and non-speaking clients, including those with autism, ADHD, developmental disabilities, ataxia, apraxia, SYNGAP1, and traumatic brain injury.

Sessions use music-making activities such as singing, playing instruments, games, movement, and songwriting to help clients build communication and social skills, express themselves, develop fine and gross motor abilities, and work on sensory-motor integration. NeuroVibes also provides Neurologic Music Therapy, an evidence-based approach that uses structured music interventions to address functional goals in cognition, movement, and speech and language.

The practice is located in Tigard and serves the Portland area, with individual services and music groups. It also works to partner with preschools, primary schools, and specialized schools to support inclusive education through music. Families can schedule a free 15-minute consultation.
