Nevil Oy is a Finnish family-owned knitwear manufacturer based in Tampere, where it has produced knitted goods since 1961. Now led by the second generation of the Viljanen family, the company makes its products in the same building using nine fully automatic Stoll flat-knitting machines. Nevil is best known for its hats and produces more than 300,000 hats and other knitted accessories annually.

Its range includes merino wool hats for different seasons and activities, as well as neck warmers, scarves and tube scarves. Some hats combine merino wool with acrylic, while selected styles use yarn made from equal parts merino wool and recycled-PET polyester. Nevil also works with businesses to plan and produce knitwear tailored to their needs, and sells directly to consumers through its online store.

The company says it uses only Öko-Tex-certified yarn in production, and all its products carry Finland’s Key Flag symbol, indicating Finnish work. Nevil emphasizes quality, domestic manufacturing and fast deliveries for both individual shoppers and business customers.
