New Castle County is a brand dedicated to the rejuvenation and transformation of communities in New Castle County, Delaware through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). With approximately $108 million in funding, the county aims to combat the impacts of COVID-19 and build back better. Spearheaded by New Castle County Executive Matt Meyer, the initiative seeks to address issues that have arisen in recent months and divisions that have persistently existed.

To ensure effective utilization of the funds, New Castle County has established ARPA Task Force Committees in various areas. These committees include Audit & Compliance, Intergovernmental Collaboration, Economic and Community Development, Workforce Development, and Early Childhood Learning. Each committee is led by experienced individuals who will use their expertise to make recommendations for investments and improvements in their respective fields.

The brand also encourages public participation and feedback, inviting individuals to share their ideas through a dedicated form. With the funds slated to be spent by December 31, 2024, the county is focused on achieving impactful and tangible outcomes for its residents and businesses
