## Description

New Energy Equity is a full-service solar energy company that develops, builds, finances, owns, and operates renewable energy projects across the United States. Backed by ALLETE, a company established in 1906, it combines financial stability with a team of more than 100 experts to guide projects from development through ongoing operations. Its services include solar land leases, acquisitions and co-development, commercial solar, and operations and maintenance. For landowners, the company manages solar development and financing, offering a way to earn long-term income while retaining ownership of their land. It also develops, builds, and owns battery energy storage systems, which can make use of smaller or underused parcels while supporting local grid reliability. New Energy Equity works with developers, financial partners, landowners, and government stakeholders, aiming to deliver dependable energy and lasting economic value. Its projects are intended to help communities access cleaner, more affordable power and provide durable benefits to project partners. The company reports a 16-state footprint, 649 megawatts developed, and more than 2 gigawatts in its development pipeline.
