## Description

New Life Evangelistic Center (NLEC) is a nonprofit Christian organization serving people experiencing homelessness and poverty in Missouri, including St. Louis, Overland, and Springfield. Led by Larry Rice, the center’s work is guided by the love of Jesus Christ and a commitment to offer hospitality, practical services, and compassionate care. Its activities include providing meals, operating a day center in Springfield, and supporting people seeking shelter and assistance. NLEC also serves veterans through its Coming Home Center and offers leadership training. Its Search and Rescue teams distribute Bundles of Hope to help people experiencing homelessness prepare for cold weather. The organization invites the public to take part through volunteering, events, and recurring donations to its St. Louis Giving Club, whose support helps keep its services available. NLEC shares news, testimonies, and Christian programming through NLEC TV, alongside related ministry initiatives and publications. Based in Overland, Missouri, the center provides contact channels for people seeking information and directs those needing financial assistance to call its main desk.
