## Description

New Mama is a Prague-based maternity and psychological support service founded by Markéta Školoudová, a midwife and psychologist with professional experience dating to 1995. The brand focuses on women’s individual needs, offering support through pregnancy, childbirth and the postnatal period. Its services include psychological counselling to help clients identify ways of addressing personal challenges, and crisis intervention for people facing acute difficulties. A midwife service provides home visits after birth. New Mama also offers group and individual childbirth preparation courses, a newborn-care course, and sessions for emotional preparation before birth. The courses aim to help expectant parents feel more informed and confident as they approach labour and early parenthood. The website also provides pregnancy and psychological counselling FAQs, a consultation service and practical information for clients. New Mama operates by appointment at an office in Prague 5, and offers contact by phone and email. Its stated goal is to support a calmer birth experience and help mothers feel settled and supported after delivery.
