The Newman Idea's mission: to help students develop  "Clear Heads and Holy Hearts" by Teaching the IKON Program at university Newman Centers; Mentoring and accompanying students; Training professors/campus ministers in IKON principles and pedagogy. Our approach is Catholic, ecumenical, and somewhat classical in our classes, courses, and curriculum. Our mentoring is has somethings in common with life-coaching and spiritual directions, but aims for intellectual and spiritual formation and integration.
