## Description

Royal Carriages is the oldest sightseeing carriage company in America, offering personalized tours that are steeped in tradition. With a specialization in New Orleans and the French Quarter, they provide a range of tours that showcase the city's history and hidden gems. Founded in 1941 by Clem and Violet Lauga, the company has been passed down through three generations, with Jim and Carolynn Lauga continuing the family-run business for over 35 years. Today, Royal Carriages is a full-service carriage company with a team of 45 professionals and a stable of well-cared-for young draft mules. What sets Royal Carriages apart is their personal touch, ensuring that each guest receives a memorable experience. Additionally, the company takes pride in giving their mules ample rest and relaxation, with 3-6 months of vacation every year on their beautiful farms in Covington, Louisiana, and Poplarville, Mississippi. Whether you're a history enthusiast or simply looking for a unique way to explore New Orleans, Royal Carriages welcomes you to join them on a tour and create lasting memories in the enchanting city.
