## Description

Northeast Wisconsin Paddlers (NEWP) is a paddling club dedicated to encouraging and advancing education and safety in kayak, canoe, and stand-up paddleboarding. A Paddle America Club affiliated with the American Canoe Association, NEWP also maintains an affiliation with American Whitewater. The club brings paddlers together through public outings, weekly paddles, practice sessions, student outings, and training classes. Its program includes trips and gatherings at destinations such as the Peshtigo Flowage, Wolf River, Rock Island, Pictured Rocks, Apostle Islands, Door County, and Green Bay’s shoreline. Members can also take part in activities including a paddling film festival, gear swap, annual meeting, and kayak campout. NEWP provides informational links, a club calendar, and guidance on where to paddle, helping members find activities and plan outings. The club offers NEWP-branded apparel through an online SquadLocker store, with options for requesting additional items. Visitors can learn about joining or renewing membership, donate, explore club committees and awards, and browse the organization’s news and archive.
