## Description

The Ellen MacArthur Foundation is a leading organization dedicated to creating a circular economy and tackling packaging pollution. Their mission is to eliminate unnecessary packaging, drive innovation in packaging and product design, and promote sustainable business models. By adopting a circular approach, they aim to circulate and reuse all the packaging that is used. One of their notable initiatives is the New Plastics Economy, which focuses on creating a circular economy specifically for plastics. By visiting the Ellen MacArthur Foundation's website, you can learn more about this initiative and how it aims to address the issue of plastic pollution. They also oversee the Global Commitment, a platform where businesses and governments commit to transforming the way we produce, use, and reuse plastic. By taking action at the source, they aim to prevent plastic waste from reaching our oceans, rivers, and beaches. Additionally, the Ellen MacArthur Foundation facilitates the Plastics Pact Network, an alliance of local and regional initiatives that work together to implement circular economy solutions for plastic. Through their innovative and collaborative approach, the Ellen MacArthur Foundation is at the forefront of driving change and shaping a more sustainable future for our planet.
