## Description

Amica Newport Marathon is a community-driven event that combines fitness with philanthropy, encouraging participants to run for a cause. Held annually, the marathon and its associated races, including the Half Marathon, aim to promote personal well-being while significantly contributing to local charitable organizations. The marathon collaborates with various partners such as the Aquidneck Land Trust and the YMCA Newport, donating over $50,000 to support vital community services.

Unique to this marathon is the RunRaising initiative backed by title sponsor Amica Insurance, providing participants the opportunity to amplify their fundraising efforts. Individuals raising funds for eligible organizations may receive additional support, promoting a greater positive impact. The event's calendar features several races throughout the year, including the Aquidneck 10K and the Newport Beer Run, drawing runners of all skill levels to participate in an enjoyable and meaningful experience. Join the Amica Newport Marathon and contribute to a healthier lifestyle while making a difference in the community.
