## Description

Newport Children’s School is a private early-learning and childcare provider serving families in Bellevue, Washington, from its Newport Way campus. Established in 1973, the school offers full-day, year-round care for children from 12 months through elementary-school age, with flexible hours from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Its programs include Toddler, Preschool, Kindergarten Prep and Kindergarten, as well as before- and after-school care and summer camp. The curriculum is science-based and emphasizes hands-on, discovery-led learning, supporting children’s curiosity, independence, problem-solving, and social-emotional development. Classroom activities include language, practical life skills, science, social studies, music and math. The school also highlights healthy meals and daily outdoor play in covered and open-air spaces.

For school-age children, before- and after-school care includes a homework club and activities that encourage time management, prioritization and sportsmanship. Summer camp combines educational experiences with outdoor activities, games and field trips, with meals and snacks included. Newport Children’s School describes its approach as a partnership with families, supported by professional educators and environments designed for children’s exploration and growth.
