## Description

News2.ru is a Russian-language social news platform where members choose topics and recommend stories for the site’s front page. Its coverage spans current affairs, politics, international relations, economics, energy, military and aviation news, culture, sport, education, health, science, technology, and entertainment. Dedicated sections also cover artificial intelligence, gadgets, space, startups, e-commerce, and innovations, alongside communities focused on subjects such as cars, IT, and everyday life. Rather than presenting itself as a conventional publisher, News2.ru organizes and surfaces news submitted from external sources through participant recommendations and community activity. Visitors can browse popular, rising, new, and highly rated stories, explore weekly and all-time rankings of contributors and communities, and read or add comments. The site also offers RSS feeds for its news and a feed that can be placed on other websites. With user-selected interests, voting, and topic-based communities at its core, News2.ru gives readers a collaborative way to follow a broad range of news and discover stories that other members consider relevant.
