## Description

**Brand Description for News From Nowhere**

News From Nowhere is a vibrant, not-for-profit radical and community bookshop located in Liverpool, established in 1974. Operated by a collective of women workers, the shop embodies a unique co-operative model, where responsibility and decision-making are shared equally among all workers. This approach ensures that any profits are reinvested into the business to cover essential expenses and expand the book inventory, rather than enriching individual owners.

The bookshop is dedicated to social justice, aiming to empower the community through literature. Its diverse collection focuses on themes such as feminism, anti-racism, LGBT+ rights, workers' rights, environmental issues, and anti-capitalism, alongside an extensive range of fiction, poetry, and children's literature. Through its website, newsfromnowhere.co.uk, customers can explore millions of available titles, comparable to larger retailers. News From Nowhere stands as a testament to the power of literature in fostering positive change and promoting inclusive, progressive values in society.
