## Description

New West Symphony is an esteemed performing arts organization that inspires a passion for symphonic music through live performances and education initiatives. Led by the GRAMMY®-winning music director, Michael Christie, the symphony boasts world-renowned musicians, some of whom have appeared as soloists with top orchestras and have been nominated for GRAMMY® awards themselves. You may even recognize their incredible talent from iconic film soundtracks like Jurassic Park and Star Wars. The symphony is committed to presenting exceptional music, bringing it closer to the hearts of their diverse audiences. With a focus on artistic excellence, inclusiveness, tradition, innovation, financial sustainability, and community engagement, the New West Symphony offers six Masterpiece Series concerts every year. They also provide outreach programs such as Symphonic Adventures, the Music Van, and the Laby Harmony Project to enrich the musical education of underserved students. Join the New West Symphony in experiencing the transformative power of live symphonic music in Ventura and Los Angeles counties.
