New Writing South is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and nurturing writers in South-East England. Our mission is to champion and amplify the voices of underrepresented writers who are often excluded by the literary and publishing world. We strive to break down the barriers that prevent these talented writers from creating and sharing their work.

Through our extensive program of courses, masterclasses, and mentoring, we provide writers with the opportunity to develop their skills and careers. In addition, our participation activities foster new conversations, encourage new writing, and engage new audiences. We value radical thinking and strive to inspire both writers and readers to take risks and find joy in writing and literature.
