Welcome to the official domain of the 2023 IBCPC Participatory Dragon Boat Festival, a unique international event organized under the auspices of the International Breast Cancer Paddlers' Committee. Scheduled from April 10 to April 16, 2023, in beautiful Lake Karapiro, New Zealand, this festival brings together breast cancer paddler teams from around the globe for a non-competitive and participatory dragon boat experience aimed at rehabilitation post-diagnosis. 

With participation expected from over 240 IBCPC member teams across 30 countries, the festival will not only showcase thrilling dragon boat races but also foster social connections among participants, family, and supporters. The event features a week-long program filled with training, workshops, and social activities, culminating in exhilarating races and a closing celebration. Governed by the Aotearoa Wahine Toa Ora Trust, the festival promises to be a memorable gathering for an estimated 4,000 to 5,000 attendees. Join us in celebrating resilience, community, and the spirit of paddling at this extraordinary event.
