## Description

Nextflow is an innovative brand that offers scientists and engineers a powerful tool for writing, deploying, and sharing data-intensive workflows on any infrastructure. Developed by Seqera Labs, Nextflow is distributed as free and open-source software under the Apache 2.0 license. With Nextflow, users can easily create highly scalable and efficient pipelines for a variety of applications, including basic scripting languages, BLAST analysis, RNA-Seq, machine learning, and variant calling. Supported and maintained by Seqera Labs, Nextflow has gained recognition and funding from the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, receiving two Essential Open Source Software for Science (EOSS) grants. Alongside nf-core, Nextflow forms an integral part of important cycles focused on advancing open-source software for scientific research. Nextflow's core team, including Paolo Di Tommaso as CTO and Evan Floden as CEO, drive the brand's continuous development and improvement. Additionally, a vast network of contributors, such as Cedric Notredame, Phil Ewels, and many more, contribute to the growth of Nextflow pipelines and the larger community.
