## Description

Next Gen Hapkido, formerly known as Next Gen Mu Sool, is a traditional Korean martial arts school serving South Austin since 2010. Affiliated with the World Kido Federation and Hanminjok Hapkido Association, the school traces its lineage through Mu Sool Won and Kuk Sool. Owners and full-time instructors Ricky and Meghan Kwahn Jahng Nim are sixth-degree masters with more than 20 years of teaching and training experience.

The school welcomes students ages four and up, offering beginner-friendly classes for children, adults, and families, along with a Little Dragons program for ages four to five. Its comprehensive curriculum includes joint locks, hand strikes, kicking, falling, forms, and technique sets, with self-defense training that uses pressure points and an opponent’s body weight. Next Gen Hapkido also offers summer camps featuring martial arts and Nerf activities.

The Austin training facility has high-quality mats and a spacious practice area. Prospective students can explore the schedule, contact the school, or arrange a free trial class.
