## Description

The National Flute Association (NFA) is a premier resource worldwide, valued by its members and relevant to all those interested in music and the flute. Founded in 1972, the NFA provides a platform for flutists to exchange ideas and inspiration. With over 3,000 members from all 50 states and more than 40 countries, including leading soloists, orchestral players, jazz and world music performers, teachers, adult amateurs, and students of all ages, the NFA is a vibrant community. They offer online events for artistic and social enrichment, a four-day annual convention celebrating all things flute, and a renowned magazine called The Flutist Quarterly. Additionally, they have a Young Artist Mentorship Program, multiple scholarships, and an extensive online repertoire guide and flute music database. Members enjoy various benefits including a subscription to The Flutist Quarterly, access to the NFA Music Library, streaming access to Naxos Music Library, and discounts on instrument insurance and sheet music. Join the NFA and become part of this dynamic community that values diversity and continuously seeks to enrich the lives of flutists worldwide.
