## Description

DataPLANT is a pioneering consortium at the forefront of the German plant research community, dedicated to democratizing plant research through sustainable Research Data Management (RDM). Our primary mission is to facilitate the digital transformation of plant science, making research data manageable and accessible while adhering to FAIR principles—Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable. We provide a wide array of services which include innovative software solutions, teaching materials, and personalized support through on-site consultations and workshops.

DataPLANT collaborates with various partners in the plant research field, ensuring a robust network that promotes community participation and knowledge transfer. Our four key task areas focus on enhancing data interoperability, promoting community engagement, and achieving long-term sustainability in data practices. As part of the NFDI (Nationale Forschungsdateninfrastruktur), DataPLANT is committed to creating a shared data ecosystem that benefits researchers across scientific disciplines. We aim to empower the plant research community by making valuable data resources freely accessible to all.
