## Description

The National Financial Literacy Program for Youth (NFLP-Y), initiated by the National Institute of Banking and Finance (NIBAF), aims to enhance financial education among Pakistani youth and school children. Targeting age groups from 9 to 29, the program seeks to foster essential money management skills and a better understanding of financial matters. Through classroom training and digital platforms, NFLP-Y plans to engage 1.6 million participants across 45 districts, including Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir, over a five-year period.

The NFLP-Y program emphasizes empowering youth and women by educating them on consumer rights, financial responsibility, and effective budgeting. Special initiatives are designed for women to connect with financial institutions and become trainers, promoting gender inclusivity in financial literacy. The project management unit at NIBAF ensures the seamless execution of these initiatives, comprising teams focused on knowledge management, outreach, and communication. Ultimately, NFLP-Y strives to cultivate financially savvy generations capable of making informed financial decisions and achieving their aspirations.
