# NFLS - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `nfls.nu` ## Description The Nordic Association for Curative Education and Social Therapy (NFLS) is a network of nonprofit care organizations across the Nordic countries. Its approximately 50 member organizations in Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden support children, young people and adults with disabilities. Members provide residential care, day services and adapted schools, guided by an anthroposophical approach to ethics and understanding of the human being. The association says this approach continues to develop in response to individual needs and wider social questions. NFLS helps its members exchange experience and knowledge and offers mutual support. Its activities include professional training and continuing education, including the Nordic professional training and development days known as Majdagar. It also promotes Nordisk Allkonst, an inclusive cultural festival, and shares information about external training opportunities in Sweden and internationally. The association organizes events and meetings, including the annual spring days and autumn meeting, and provides news, resources and information about its members.
