## Description

NFT for the Blind is a Miami, Florida-based company founded in 2022 by Paulo Silva to make digital collectibles more accessible to people who are blind or visually impaired. Inspired by the challenges faced by Silva’s blind stepfather and the limited accessibility of NFTs, the company aims to connect the blind community with NFT and Web3 culture through touch and audio.

Its services focus on physical embossing, transforming NFTs into Braille and audio formats so customers can better understand digital artwork and collectibles. The company also aims to help blind users buy and sell NFTs, and offers tailored embossing services for individuals, organizations, and support groups. By making collectibles accessible, NFT for the Blind hopes to encourage creators to adapt their work and raise awareness of visual impairment.

The company’s broader vision includes developing accessible art and community experiences connected to virtual reality, the metaverse, avatars, and AI. It also plans to support awareness at NFT and Web3 events and describes its mission as building a more inclusive community through accessible art and technology.
