# NGO Coordination - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `ngocoordination.org` ## Description ICVA, or the International Council of Voluntary Agencies, is a prominent global network of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) dedicated to enhancing the effectiveness and integrity of humanitarian action. Founded in 1962, ICVA has evolved from a small coalition focused on refugee and migration issues into a diverse community of over 160 member NGOs operating across 160 countries. The organization plays a vital role in helping its members engage with and influence the humanitarian sector, concentrating on areas such as forced migration, humanitarian coordination, and financing, while addressing cross-cutting issues. Headquartered in Geneva, ICVA maintains close proximity to global humanitarian debates and decision-making processes, further supported by regional representatives who bridge global insights with local realities. ICVA emphasizes collaboration among NGOs, advocating for inclusive humanitarian practices that provide equitable access to quality assistance for those affected by crises. With a commitment to principles of humanity and impartiality, ICVA strives to empower NGOs to engage in and shape humanitarian coordination mechanisms effectively by 2030. ## Industries - 🎗 Community and Society - 🎗 Philanthropy _(under Community and Society)_ ## Links - [youtube](https://youtube.com/channel/UC0xI6FvnLyGNzUY6VAXb8YQ) - [twitter](https://twitter.com/ICVAnetwork) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG, SVG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id-Pp2MhCF/w/820/h/820/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1751411253434) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id-Pp2MhCF/w/400/h/400/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1751411253671) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Denim | #1b76bc | accent | | Dove Gray | #666666 | dark | | Ship Cove | #709dbc | light | ## Fonts - Roboto — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
