Its mission brings together a passion for teaching and a passion for playing, helping young athletes develop their skills and pursue their basketball goals. NGBA works closely with Basketball Canada and Ontario Basketball to support player development.

The academy offers summer development programs, including a Summer Academy, Skills Academy, personal training, summer teams and a summer day camp. Its winter program includes training and team opportunities, with rep-level and JUEL pathways featured in its announcements.
