## Description

Rally Nacional de Innovación is a national competition that brings together creative, talented young people from universities and technology centers to develop solutions to real-world challenges. During an intensive 24-hour event, multidisciplinary teams collaborate to turn ideas into proposals that are innovative, economically feasible, and socially, environmentally, and technically viable. The competition is open to university students interested in working with people who bring different perspectives.

The Rally focuses on three areas: technological innovation, which applies technology and knowledge to create or significantly improve products, services, and processes; social innovation, which seeks positive outcomes for people, communities, and the environment; and process or organizational innovation, which aims to improve efficiency, quality, costs, and organizational performance. Participating higher education institutions serve as event venues, supporting logistics, team coordination, and the development of participants’ soft skills. The Rally offers students a structured opportunity to practice collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving while addressing challenges shared across Latin American countries. Its listed 2026 competition dates are August 28 and 29.
