## Description

Nick Westergaard is an author, speaker, educator, and brand strategist who helps leaders and marketers connect with audiences through storytelling. He teaches at the University of Iowa’s Tippie College of Business, where he leads the Story Lab program, and contributes to Harvard Business Review. Nick also hosts the On Brand podcast and is a Moth StorySLAM Champion.

Through speaking and consulting, Nick equips organizations with practical ways to use stories to build trust, strengthen alignment, encourage collaboration, and inspire action. His core programs include The Story Leader, which helps leaders apply five practical stories across teams and organizations; The Connection Crisis, focused on building stronger communities through shared experience; and Scrappy Brand Storytelling, which helps marketers develop and activate clear brand story frameworks.

Nick is the author and illustrator of Brand Now and Get Scrappy, books offering frameworks and practical tools for making brands stand out in a crowded, distracted digital world.
