## Description

Nieuwveen Live! is a community music festival organized by Mijn Gitaarschool, a regional music school, bringing students, local performers, and established acts together in Nieuwveen. The 2026 event is scheduled for May 30 and will feature 18 bands across two stages. A distinctive part of the festival is its focus on student participation: every Mainstage band will perform at least one song with a Mijn Gitaarschool student, while the De Lange Stage highlights bands that grew out of the school. The programme spans rock, metal, punk, ska, funk, soul, pop, acoustic music, and Dutch-language classics, with performances ranging from student ensembles to experienced regional groups. Featured acts include T.A.N.K., Bacon Biscuit, Fumigaze, MEENA, Black Knight, and Take The Bizkit, alongside newer and school-connected bands. The festival also invites businesses to explore sponsorship opportunities and provides information about the venue, programme, and event. Nieuwveen Live! takes place on the industrial estate in Nieuwveen, opposite Ampèrestraat 20B, the location of Mijn Gitaarschool.
