## Description

NIFI, the Scientific Research Financial Institute, was established in 1937 by the initiative of the financial authorities. Initially comprising seven sections, it focused on budgeting, taxation, monetary circulation, credit, and financial planning. Over the years, NIFI evolved into a leading center for developing financial theories and practices, contributing to the efficiency of economic management.

By the 1990s, NIFI expanded its research scope, engaging in budgetary reforms, financial control legislation, and aligning accounting standards with international norms. Renowned economists like V.P. Dyachenko and I.D. Zlobin have been part of NIFI, enriching its expertise. In 2005, NIFI joined the Budget and Treasury Academy, later becoming a federal state institution under the Ministry of Finance.

Today, as the Federal Scientific Research Financial Institute, NIFI continues its mission under the Ministry of Finance, offering cutting-edge financial research and fostering economic development. Contact us for more information.
