## Description

Nightflight is a Korean amateur astronomy community founded in 2000, bringing together people who share a passion for visual observing and the night sky. Its website serves as a hub for members to exchange observing experiences, practical knowledge, and inspiration. Visitors can explore observing logs, astronomical sketches and photographs, equipment discussions, and information about building or modifying instruments. The community also publishes observing guides and field notes, highlights selected deep-sky objects, and shares essays about astronomy and observing trips.

Nightflight supports connection among its members through meetup announcements, a free discussion board, and shared observing activities. Its online resources include SkyView tools, searchable photographs, and information about the Sun, Moon, and planets, alongside observing conditions and forecasts intended to help plan a night outdoors. From telescope-making projects to detailed accounts of celestial observations, the site reflects a hands-on, experience-led approach to amateur astronomy. Nightflight is a community resource for observers looking to learn from one another, document what they see, and enjoy the practice of exploring the sky.
