## Description

Nightingale is the journal of the Data Visualization Society (DVS), a community dedicated to fostering growth and knowledge in data visualization. Our mission is to provide resources and support to members at all expertise levels. Through Nightingale, we share the wealth of knowledge from our community, featuring high-quality articles that cover various applications of data visualization, such as history, sports, best practices, and more. We aim to amplify the ideas and voices of our members, promoting recognition and creating new opportunities for them. Our supportive and generous community serves as a platform for practitioners to give back, learn, and advance their ideas. Inspired by Florence Nightingale who revolutionized data visualization, we celebrate innovation, creativity, enlightenment, and collaboration among visual thinkers. With exciting plans on the horizon, including the launch of our print magazine, Nightingale continues to be a hub for dataviz professionals worldwide. Join us and become part of this vibrant community.
