## Description

Niguro (formerly known as Niriv) is Nepal’s first independent web-wide search engine and digital portal. Unlike simple business directories or site-specific search bars, Niguro features a fully functional, custom-built web crawler and indexing architecture explicitly designed to process the Nepali language and regional data structures.

Company Profile & Background

• Founded: The project originally started in May 2021 under the corporate brand Niriv (which had roots back to 2019 registration).

• The Grand Rebrand: The company officially rebranded from Niriv to Niguro in August 2026, deploying its new upgraded infrastructure at niguro.com. The name is inspired by the native wild fiddlehead fern (निगुरो), symbolizing fresh growth and organic discovery.
