## Description

The Nuclear Innovation Institute (NII) is a Canadian research institute focused on advancing the clean energy industry. Based in Ontario, it brings together research, industry perspectives, skills development and community engagement to support the sector’s evolution. NII’s work spans nuclear innovation and broader energy priorities, with initiatives including the NII Advance Technology Campus, the Bruce Power Nexus Research Centre and the Canadian Centre for Space Isotopes, which explores Canada’s role in supplying isotopes for future space missions. The institute also supports the Clean Energy Frontier, the Southwestern Ontario Isotope Coalition, the Green Ribbon Panel and sector transformation efforts. Through research and industry-focused programming, NII examines topics such as megaproject execution, energy security and resilient communities. Its activities include the Clean Energy Frontier Conference, which convenes participants around clean energy issues, and the Clean Energy Frontier Program Awards, which recognize contributions to the sector. NII shares news, reports and industry commentary, and offers opportunities to learn about its work, attend events and join its mailing list.
