## Description

Norske interiørarkitekters og møbeldesigneres landsforening (NIL) is Norway’s national professional association for interior architects and furniture designers. It works to raise the profile of these professions and promote their value to society, while improving members’ professional conditions through advocacy, collaboration and skills development. NIL’s members have expertise in planning public and private spaces, working with both new and existing buildings, and designing furniture and interior details for individual projects or wider production. The association’s MNIL® designation is a professional quality mark reserved for eligible members.

NIL supports its community through nine regional groups, professional events, courses, continuing education, publications and an annual yearbook showcasing members’ work. Its website helps people find qualified interior architects and furniture designers by name, expertise or region, and provides information about membership, professional practice, contracts, competitions and scholarships. NIL also shares industry news, policy positions and educational resources, and offers opportunities for members to connect, develop their practice and contribute to the future of interior architecture and furniture design in Norway.
